Everything has
begun in Slupsk, my friend Radka brought ordinary, gray cat called Blynx.
He supposed to live in our firm but after 3 days of his staying there he
landed in our house. Blynx became a friend of all the inhabitants at our
home, especially Erzan, 16 years old dog, which Blynx loved to “bully”.
One year had passed, we went to Olsztyn, I changed my job, and of course
Erzan and Blynx came with me. After sometime Erzan passed away. Blynx
missed Erzan and missed me as I was spending a lot of time at work. Well,
there was only one solution for this problem and it was to buy for the cat
another cat… or maybe two cats?
In this way we got two new cats in our home. The first one
was Spark crossbreed of ordinary cat and Norwegian forest cat and the second was Furby or Fiesta,
female cat of Maine Coon race.
Since 2001 our family and the family
of cats have been living in Wroclaw. We had good memories after being in
Olsztyn. Only just we had got used to the new place, after few months, a
new cat appeared. Elizabeth is the fascinating blue eyed Main Coon cat,
who came to us from Krakow. There were six of us Blynx, Spark, Furby, Eli
and, of course me with my husband Pawel.
Unfortunately, this idyllic situation didn’t last for long. In
October
2001, after severe illness of pancreas, Spark died. We lost our woodland
sprite who loved to nap, during afternoons, on the narrow edge of the
doors. We still remember about her. She died as quickly as she won our
love for her. To honor Spark we named first litter of our cats with the
names starting with letter “S”.
Year 2003 has come. Our flock was joint by "Roman
Visitors" in September i.e. Gordon Flash and Gentle Beauty - the two
wonderful cats which were brought by us from Italy - from the first maine
coon cattery in that country.

Gordon is the first red white silver macarel tabby maine coon in Poland.
He looks like a white cat covered with old gold pieces. For us he is such
gold. Together with Beauty - who has an exceptionally proportional body
built - they have stormed into our hearts.
In february 2004 we come back to Olsztyn!!! |
